Facility Operations and Facility Planning at the Orange County Sheriff Department (OCSD) handles operational standards, maintenance, and capital improvements at multiple properties throughout Orange County. These buildings include detention facilities, communication facilities, emergency operations centers, administration offices, support operations facilities, and specialty operation centers.
Project Overview
Maintenance and capital improvement projects span a variety of sizes and types, from large new construction to simple maintenance, repair, and supply contracts.
Our Role
JOA Group assists OCSD procurement and operational staff at every level to support in all areas of these maintenance and capital improvement projects. JOA Group’s role has come alongside estimating, scoping research and documentation, contract review and writing, bid review, contract administration, project initiation, planning, execution, management, monitoring, and close out.
Project Challenges
The main challenge of these projects is coordinating with key stakeholders on a variety of project sizes and types across multiple properties in Orange County.
