The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles has awarded JOA a 5-year contract

The HACLA is one of the nation’s largest public housing authorities with an annual budget exceeding $1 billion. The agency currently manages nearly 6700 public housing units, 2500 non-public residences and a commercial portfolio of approximately 200,000 square feet. In addition, the agency has the goal of permitting 100,000 housing units by 2021.
“The HACLA provides many important residential opportunities to the people of Los Angeles,” said Jeff Oviedo, President of JOA. “We are excited to contribute our extensive experience to this worthwhile agency as they continue to expand and improve housing around LA.”
Among other initiatives, JOA will assist in the areas of capital maintenance, rehabilitation, modernization and development of properties owned by the Authority.
